Previously, the funds in the Ministry’s patent voucher scheme have been exhausted in just a few minutes. Based on this experience, companies interested in the patent voucher should familiarise themselves with the criteria that they have to meet, in order to apply.
Protect your good ideas
The patent voucher scheme allows more Danish companies to explore their potential for protecting their good ideas with a patent. An opportunity that will make them stand stronger when raising capital and protecting their idea from infringers.
At the same time, the patent voucher helps to raise awareness about IP, hopefully inspiring even more SMEs to secure their rights. The patent voucher scheme is a significant part of the Ministry’s IP Action Plan, which aims to contribute to increased growth and more jobs by highlighting the importance and value of IP rights.
Book an IP check
The 2024 scheme will open for applications on 26 November at 9:00 AM. It is already possible to book an IP check at one of the regional business hubs. The IP check is one of the few steps companies must go through to apply for a patent voucher.
